Our Club is the second oldest in Australia formed in 1960 (then, as the Parramatta Lapidary Club)
We have nearly 200 members
General meetings are held at 2pm on the 4th Saturday of each month.
Day and evening classes are held regularly in cabochon cutting, faceting, silver jewellery, wire wrapping, carving, enamelling, and other classes are arranged from time to time, as members require.
The clubrooms are open most nights of the week (between 7 and 9.30pm) for classes and some days - at present, Monday Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 10am and 2pm.
Field trips are held as often as we can
arrange.
We hold two exhibitions each year. One early in the year is a community event, one held later in the year is our annual show, usually with a competition of work done by members during the year.
The exhibiton is held on the second weekend
in November.
Visitors are always welcome to call in to the clubrooms to have a chat, look around, and even have a
ppa.
